ILC Industries is best known for its role as a NASA contractor during the Apollo program, producing pressure suits and aerospace equipment. The Jetstream series was part of the company\'s commercial helmet line during the late 1960s and early 1970s, giving this piece an interesting connection to the Space Age era.
Condition: Vintage used condition with heavy signs of age and use throughout. The shell has numerous scratches, scuffs, paint transfer marks, finish wear, and chips. Interior liner is present, however the foam beneath the liner feels aged and appears to be deteriorating. Chin strap shows wear and age.
There is a size sticker inside that appears to read 6 1/2, but I cannot guarantee the size designation and have not independently verified it. Please review all photographs carefully and determine sizing and condition for yourself before purchasing.
