1969 Tanach published by Sinai Publishing, Tel-Aviv. Printed in Israel by Ortsel Ltd.Silver-plated metal cover with embossed relief designs. Front cover has the Ten Commandments topped with a crown. Four large oval turquoise-colored cabochon stones on the front, smaller stones set into the crown and tablets. Border has symbols and Hebrew names of the Twelve Tribes of Israel. Hebrew text reads כי מציון תצא תורה on front and back.Back cover has a central Menorah design. Spine has Hebrew text and figures carrying a large cluster of grapes. Metal hinges on the side. Brown marbled endpapers.Surface scratches and scuffs on the metal cover. Tarnish and patina on the silver plating. Discoloration and foxing on the inner endpapers. Wear on the spine edges.
