Set of 6, Embroidered Jamaican Napkins with Fringed Edges.
I found this set tucked away in a drawer, while cleaning out my in-law's place. I know they went to visit Jamaica a few times and really loved it there. I am guessing they bought this on one of their trips to the island. I have never seen these out in 30 years, and from my research these were typically made between 1950s-1970s, so they may be closer to 50 years old and I wouldn't be surprised if they have been in the drawer I found them in for that long.
Condition: I found them folded, so they all have a crease in them. Some are in the center, some are off-center. One is somewhat rolled at the right base. Two napkins have stains, I am not sure from what. I did not try to clean them as I don't know how. I will leave that to whomever purchases the set. I have included photos of the group and each individual (which also gets the one next to it a bit), both front and then back (in the same order)
Overall, these are great for anyone who loves Jamaica or collects these textile (please note, in the description, I had to click a material that this is made from, I am guessing linen, but I do not know the actual material - linen, linen blend, cotton blend - I am not the right person to figure that out & there is no label to let me know).
I have packed them in a Ziploc bag. Will ship in a polybag or padded envelope, from a pet-free, smoke-free home. Will combine shipping if possible, as long as everything fits in one package.
Due to a change in my work schedule, starting in August, I will only be able to get to the post office on Friday, Saturday and Monday.
