Vintage Japanese 1950’s Enesco Hand Painted Daruma Figurines For Sale

Six small vintage Enesco handpainted hard ceramic figurines depicting Daruma (the Bodhidharma, the founder of Zen Buddhism) in various whimsical poses, mounted together on a single black wooden base (about 6 inches wide).While Enesco is widely known for traditional western themes, they imported and distributed several specialized Asian-themed porcelain and resin collections during the late 20th century. These figures show Daruma in his signature red robes, traditionally symbolic of luck. They have a little age related wear but in very good condition! Purchased many years ago in a Kona, Hawaii Asian Arts antique store.
