Henri Alméras created L’Heure Attendue in 1946 to mark the liberation of Paris — “the awaited hour.” It was among his last compositions for the house. In 1984, Jean Kerléo revived twelve Patou classics from 1925 to 1964 under the name Ma Collection, working only from surviving formulas rather than guesswork, and presented them in flacons modeled on the originals by Louis Süe. L’Heure Attendue was one of the twelve. Ma Collection is long out of production, and these bottles have become the standard reference point for collectors who want the archive Patou scents.Fragrance Composition

Faceted clear glass Süe-style flacon with the distinctive blue hobnail glass stopper and silver-tone collar, front label reading L’Heure Attendue, Eau de Toilette, Jean Patou Paris. Bottle base embossed © Jean Patou Parfumeur S.A., Made in France. Original Art Deco patterned box in blue, ochre and cream with the oval name cartouche. No barcode, no green dot, and no long-form ingredient list appear anywhere on the packaging — all consistent with production before the packaging changes that swept through perfumery from the late 1980s onward.
