Kockums was the historic Swedish engineering and shipbuilding company based in Malmö. The “1891” is part of the historic Kockums emblem/design and should not necessarily be interpreted as the manufacturing date of this particular plaque.
Good vintage condition with surface wear, oxidation/patina, spotting and evidence of previous mounting/use. There is residue and surface wear on the reverse as shown. I have not polished or cleaned the brass.
