This All Original, Beautiful, VintageMarie Antoinette (Image) Woman's Hand Mirror with Intricate Cut Glass Handle has an Art Deco Zig Zag Moderne Engraved Design in a well-patinaed brass metal piece connecting the cut glass handle to the rectangular mirror. 6" x 4"- Rectangular Mirror and 6" x 1" - Cut Glass Handle, Total Length of the entire hand mirror is 12. The framed Marie Antoinette portrait image and Fleur de Lis surround design is on fiber board.
This hand mirror has been in my family for over 100 years. Based on the engraved metal design on the cut glass handle, it appears to be from the Art Deco period 1910's to 1920's due to the metal design. It is all original.
The Mirror has a vertical crack on one side of the beveled glass. Some fogging of the mirror. Some tarnish around the mirror metal frame. The Cut glass handle is in perfect condition as is the Art Deco engraved metal piece attaching to the mirror.
