An unusual vintage empty J. & F. Martell Cognac bottle retaining its elaborate original paper labels.
The most interesting feature is the faded red overprint on the lower portion of the main label reading:
“RESERVED FOR ALLIED FORCES ONLY”
The bottle is pale aqua/green glass and retains the large decorative Martell “Very Old Pale” Cognac label as well as the three-star shoulder label. An especially interesting piece of vintage French spirits advertising and Allied military-era memorabilia.
Bottle measures approximately 11 3/4 inches tall.

Condition is as shown in photos. The glass is intact. Original paper labels show expected age-related toning, staining, fading and wear, with some small areas of loss. The red “Reserved for Allied Forces Only” overprint is faded but remains readable. No stopper or cap is present. Please see all photos for exact condition.
