Fair Condition. I am picky so I think this is in fair condition because the dog has a broken off front paw. There appears to be a little wear to the edge of the pink hat. Somewhere along the way, somebody dribbled a couple of drops of blue paint on the male figure.. I made a point of posting pictures of these issues. Overall, the figurine looks good and it is a high quality but I am not pretending it is better than it is. There are no other chips, cracks or crazing. The colors are bright!
The bottom of the figurine is marked Morirama Made in Occupied Japan Paulux. It was likely made in 1946 but it was definitely made between Sep 2, 1945 to Apr 28, 1952.

The figurine has that soft but gritty finish of porcelain bisque, which I kind of like the feel of it. It is like the German and French bisque in texture. It is an elegant decor accent piece! I love it! You will too!
