The model number on this Amazing looking radio is B-100 & was produced in the 1950\'s era. This was a fairly popular radio when it was introduced & is still a fairly popular & desirable radio by today\'s standards.The WOOD Cabinet on this Beauty has GREAT MID CENTURY MODERN STYLE. This Motorola B-100 Stereo Receiver Radio offers a fantastic blend of vintage electronics appeal and stylish mid-century design. With its classic brown wood casing and a striking gold/champagne faceplate. The faceplate is in nice condition but there is WEAR around the (ON/OFF/VOLUME & TUNING) Controls. The knobs on the radio are in GREAT Condition & they work as intended.
The Detachable Speaker are in nice condition & work fine HOWEVER the grill cloth on the back of One (1) speaker does not match well.When this Nice looking MOTOROLA radio is powered up, it picks up Several FM stations IN MY AREA & plays them fine HOWEVER I DID \"NOT\" RECEIVE ANY AM STATIONS I ONLY RECEIVED STATIC SO THIS RADIO WILL NEED TO BE SERVICED TO WORK CORRECTLY.
THE FM ANTENNA ON THIS MOTOROLA RADIO IS \"BASICALLY\" THE ELECTRIC CORD SO YOU MAY HAVE TO MOVE THAT ELECTRIC CORD AROUND TO RECEIVE THE BEST FM RECEPTION,THIS VINTAGE NICE LOOKING MOTOROLA RADIO THAT JUST LOOKS WONDERFUL & IT \"SEMI\" WORKS.now with all this being said about how nice this radio looks & it does look \"FABULOUS\" but it is still a vintage piece of electronics & with all my vintage electronics it is being SOLD IN \"AS IS\" condition with NO warranty.This \"MOTOROLA\" would make an Excellent addition to your radio collection or as a stand alone radio as it\'s power & beauty will surely be the talk of the room by all whom enter.

Tube radio technology \"unlike modern day solid state radios\" can have interference/noise in the sound quality, caused by kitchen appliances, computer monitors, flat screen TV\'S, florescent lights, washing machines, high power wires above your home, etc... So where you position/place this radio in your home can make a huge difference & the direction/position it is set in.A lot of tube radios are \"Directional\" meaning you \"MAY\" have to turn the radio one way or the other to receive the best reception. Tube radio usually take 30 to 45 seconds after they have been turned/powered ON before they will start playing as the tubes have to warm up.
