Vintage miniature porcelain piano figurine, marked MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN on the underside in black ink. Produced during the Allied occupation export period, circa 1947–1952.
White glazed porcelain with hand-painted olive-green pinstripe trim, gold accents, and pale yellow highlight panels. Molded keyboard on the front face and an open book of sheet music standing on the music rack. Four scrolled legs with painted detailing. Hollow body with a recessed unglazed base and a small factory vent hole.
Measurements: approx. 2.5" wide x 1.5" deep x 2.5" tall.
CONDITION:
Pre-owned vintage item, sold as-is. Painted trim is largely intact with light age-appropriate wear. Small brown kiln specks present on the base rim and on the bottoms of two legs — see photos.
note the leg edge and the mark on the music panel — no chips, cracks, or repairs found.
