Vintage Peltro Argentato 999 Italian Sports Figurines – Lot of 5
Wonderful matching collection of five vintage Italian children’s sports figurines marked “Peltro Argentato 999 – Made in Italy.”
These charming and highly detailed figurines are made of pewter with a silvered finish and feature whimsical children participating in different sports and recreational activities.
This lot includes:
• Soccer – child holding a soccer ball overhead in a throw-in pose
• Baseball – child wearing a baseball cap and holding a bat
• American Football – child cradling a football with #1 on the back
• Diving / Spearfishing – child wearing diving mask and swim fins while holding a fish on a spear
• Weightlifting – child performing an overhead barbell lift
The figures measure approximately 3–4 inches tall depending on pose, with the soccer figure measuring approximately 3¾” tall.
All five retain their original “Peltro Argentato 999 – Made in Italy” foil labels.
These are vintage pre-owned pieces and display age-related patina, tarnish, surface wear, scratches and other signs of age/use. Please examine all photographs carefully for exact cosmetic condition. The photographs are considered part of the description.
The projecting components on the figures, including the weightlifter’s barbell and the diver’s spear/fish, are present as pictured.
