Unusual vintage Philippine fixed-blade knife measuring approximately 14 inches overall with a 10.5-inch blade.
This piece has the character of a traditional working knife rather than a modern factory-produced blade. It features a hand-forged carbon steel blade, distinctive asymmetrical/chisel-style blade geometry, and a deeply carved hardwood handle with zoomorphic/animal-form styling.
The construction and overall form are consistent with traditional Philippine, likely Visayan, bolo and utility-knife traditions. The carved handle, forged blade and asymmetrical construction make this a particularly interesting example for collectors of Philippine edged tools, ethnographic knives and hand-forged blades.
Condition: Vintage used condition with substantial age-related patina, oxidation, scratches, wear and forge/tool marks. These are clearly documented in the photos. We have not cleaned, polished, sanded or restored this knife, preserving it in the condition in which we acquired it.

Maker, exact age and specific regional pattern are unknown. Research suggests similarities to Visayan/plamingko-type knives, but we are not claiming that attribution as definitive.
