**Rare Vintage Pierre Frey for Brunschwig & Fils "L'Escarpolette" Hand-Printed Toile Fabric Remnant**
Up for sale is a spectacular, generous vintage remnant of the highly collectible "L'Escarpolette" (The Swing) pattern. This piece features a unique pedigree: it is a Pierre Frey archival print originally distributed to the trade by the legendary U.S. luxury design house, Brunschwig & Fils. The original warehouse tag is still attached to the selvage, noting pattern number 62152.01 and a yardage of 2.250 yards.
As marked on the authentic selvage edge, this fabric was entirely hand-frame printed in France ("imprimé au cadre à la main"), yielding an artisan depth of color and pattern precision.
**DIMENSIONS:**
* Width: 56 inches (Selvage to Selvage)
* Length: 92 inches (2.5 Yards continuous)
**CONDITION / VINTAGE NOTE:**
This piece is in Very Good vintage condition with excellent structural integrity and vibrant color. To ensure total transparency for collectors and designers, please note the following minor archival flaws (fully documented in the final listing photos):
* There are old tape residue marks on the reverse side of the fabric. These marks do NOT bleed through or show on the face of the fabric.
* There is one faint, localized spot/stain that is barely perceptible from the front face of the fabric.
With over 2.5 yards of continuous width, there is an immense amount of pristine canvas here. It is an ideal yield for high-end interior upholstery projects, custom drapery valances, luxury accent pillows, or framing as textile art.
Ships promptly and securely from a smoke-free environment. Please review all high-resolution photos for exact condition details before purchasing.
