Vintage Piroxloid Orange Jellyback Mah jong jongg Tile: Choice of ONE For Sale

Piroxloid (name of manufacturer) orange jelly back Mahjongg tiles are very rare and were likely made in China in the 1920’s and brought to the US for distribution. These tiles are French Ivory which was a design made to simulate real ivory. Two slightly different colors of the material were layered one over the other to mimic the natural striations seen in ivory. In addition to the French Ivory component these specific tiles have an orange jelly like appearance to the backs.
