Vintage Purdue University Metal Bookends MCM Mid Century Bronze Copper Seal For Sale

Up for sale is a beautiful pair of vintage, mid-century modern Purdue University collegiate seal bookends. These heavy metal bookends feature a classic Art Deco-inspired flared block design with a striking multi-toned bronze and copper finish. The front of each piece features a highly detailed, embossed official Purdue University seal. The emblem prominently displays the historic griffin alongside the shield showcasing the university's core pillars: Science, Technology, and Agriculture. This set is an excellent piece of vintage Boilermaker memorabilia, perfect for an office desk, library, or display shelf. Condition: Excellent vintage condition with a beautiful, natural aged patina to the bronze and copper finish. No major scratches, dents, or structural damage. There is a corner on one with minor scraping (see last photo). There are no manufacturer markings or stamps on the pieces, which is highly typical for authorized bookstore giftware from this era (circa 1950s–1970s). 5.25" across and 4.5" tall. So beautiful!
