A classic piece of mid-century Swedish decorative pottery: an authentic Rörstrand ceramic dish featuring a detailed antique-style illustrated map of Islandia (Iceland). Accented with stylized topographic relief, fjords, sea sea monster motifs, and a classical decorative scroll cartouche. Finished with a deep charcoal-black exterior rim glaze. Molded with dual factory hanging holes along the underside rim, allowing it to display either flat as a dresser valet / ashtray or hung flush against a wall as art plaque.
