An unusual substantial form featuring three evenly spaced loop handles, a gently tapered cylindrical body, and multiple raised/reeded bands around the body and base. The three-handled form is traditionally known as a tyg and was also used as a loving cup or trophy form.Reed & Barton of Taunton, Massachusetts was one of America’s best-known manufacturers of silver, silverplate, Britannia metal, and pewter wares.
