Matching pair of vintage Ronson “Decanter” table lighters with substantial silver-tone bodies and ornate raised floral and scroll decoration encircling the bases. Both retain the distinctive tall decanter silhouette and Ronson lever-operated lighter mechanisms. The undersides are marked RONSON, Newark N.J. U.S.A., with patent information and “RONSON ‘DECANTER’ TRADE MARK.” One retains a green felt-covered base while the other has lost its felt, making the pair particularly interesting for display and comparison. Each measures approximately 4.5” tall. The lighters have not been tested and are being sold as collectible/display pieces with functionality unknown. Pre-owned vintage condition with substantial age and use wear. Both lighters show scratches, scuffs, tarnish, discoloration, plating loss and areas of darkened finish throughout. Wear is particularly noticeable on the mechanisms, stems and raised base decoration. One lighter retains green felt around the underside while the other does not. Both are untested, and no representation is made regarding working condition or whether servicing, flints, fuel or other attention may be required.
