Brass handles are secure . Measurments are 20 1/4" x 12" x 1 1/4" with the handles. It does have the makers mark. But there are some spots on the bottom the the wood has splintered off of the edges of the tray as can be seen in the photos.

Photos of the damage must be sent tome in order for me to open an insurance claim. If it is a shipping problem,please send me photos of box before and after opening.
