Up for sale is a unique piece of vintage European barware history.
This clear glass decanter was produced in the former Yugoslavia for Slovenija Vino Ljubljana. It features a striking embossed Star of David logo in the center and scalloped "craggy" edges that give it a great mid-century look.
Historical Significance
The back of this bottle features the embossed text: "FEDERAL LAW FORofferS SALE OR REUSE OF THIS BOTTLE."
This specific marking dates the production of this glass between 1935 and 1964, making it a fantastic "Post-Prohibition" era Slovenia (Former Yugoslavia)
