Vintage Sasieni Four Dot Natural Briar Tobacco Smoking Pipe
Vintage English Sasieni Four Dot Natural pipe with attractive warm natural briar grain and a gently curved profile. The pipe is clearly stamped Sasieni / FOUR DOT NATURAL / LONDON MADE on the shank.
This example has a tall, slightly flared bowl with a broad lower bowl and a gently bent tapered stem, giving it a distinctive Bent Billiardprofile. The natural finish displays attractive grain throughout the bowl and shank.
This pipe came from the estate of a longtime Chicago pipe enthusiast who carefully maintained his smoking collection. It remains unrestored and is being offered as found. The briar shows normal signs of age and use. The stem has substantial oxidation and discoloration, particularly around the bit, along with expected tooth and handling wear. Please examine the photographs carefully for condition.
