FABULOUS Vintage Terrier Dog Bronze Tone Sculpture Bookend Schnauzer or Scottish Terrier on Marble Base. Beautiful detailed features and composition.
Material is unknown metal. It has the appearance of bronze or bronze tone metal with dark finish and patina but it does attract to magnet VERY slightly, indicating not Solid Iron or Bronze, but possibly some type of alloy.
Measures approximately 6 inches tall by 6 inches wide. Dog itself measures approximately 5 inches long by 4-1/2 inches tall. Please refer to photos for exact dimensions.
Figure is in excellent condition. Chip in back rear corner of marble base (see last photo closeup. Refer to photos and video for your best description of condition on this amazing vintage item.
Dog figuring may be removed from base by removing screws, although I have not attempted this (do so at your own risk).
