This detailed, teardrop-shaped piece features traditional Kandyan craftsmanship modeled after a ceremonial "Sesatha" royal sunshade.
Artistic Motif:
The central design features the famous "Hansaya Poottuva" (intertwined swans/peacocks) symbol, a traditional Sri Lankan emblem representing prosperity, harmony, and community. The top triangular crown features two distinct opposing birds with intricate background filigree piercing.
