Vintage Staunton Military Academy (SMA) U.S. ROTC cadet uniform set from Staunton, Virginia.
Includes the original gray wool uniform jacket and matching trousers.
The jacket retains its original SMA collar insignia, SMA shoulder patch, crossed-rifle insignia, U.S. ROTC sleeve patch, cadet rank chevrons, star insignia, gold-tone buttons and black sleeve trim.
Made by Shenandoah Tailoring Co., Inc., Mt. Sidney, Virginia, a period manufacturer and outfitter of Staunton Military Academy uniforms.
Matching trousers have an original cadet identification/size tag marked:

Waist: 31
Inseam: approximately 31
There is also a handwritten name/identification inside the waistband, but it is difficult to read and has not been positively identified.
