For sale is a charming vintage Stephen Frost English pewter novelty thimble.
The exterior is designed as a classic thatched beehive (skep) adorned with a beautifully detailed, cold-painted yellow and black bumblebee. The top lid is hinged and opens smoothly to reveal a classic dimpled sewing thimble shaped seamlessly into the body of the skep. The underside of the lid features
the authentic \"SF PEWTER\" maker\'s hallmark. The thimble is fully hollowed out and can be worn or easily displayed.**Condition:**
Good vintage pre-owned condition with a smooth, functioning hinge mechanism.
Please note there is a small chip to the white cold paint on the lower left wing of the bumblebee, exposing the grey pewter beneath (clearly shown in the photos).
No cracks, dents, or major damage to the pewter itself. Please review all listing photographs carefully to inspect the exact condition of the piece.
