A beautiful, masterfully crafted piece of signed vintage studio pottery. This short, stout chamber-style oil lamp features a hand-thrown ceramic base finished in a striking blue glaze, decorated with muted green leafy twigs and deep blue accents. Designed with a classic chamber finger loop handle for easy carrying.
The clear glass font is beautifully styled with a classic mid-century silhouette, featuring a bulbous shape adorned with a molded vertical ribbed pattern. These elegant, pressed flutes form soft indents directly into the glass, beautifully catching and reflecting the light when the lamp is lit. The solid brass-tone burner assembly features a beautifully aged vintage patina and comes equipped with a clean, unused wick. It is elegantly crowned by a clear glass chimney, showcasing a delicate, tightly crimped rim along the top edge.
Dimensions:
Total Height: 9.5\" (with glass shade on)
Ceramic Base Diameter: 5.5\"
Glass Font Height: Approx. 2\" (excluding burner assembly)
Glass Shade Height: 4.75\"
Condition:In good vintage condition. The ceramic base is pristine with no chips, cracks, or structural flaws. The glass font and ruffled-edge shade are clean and clear with no cracks or flea bites. The burner assembly moves smoothly, and the wick is unburned. Please note, the metal prongs seem stretched out allowing the glass shade to lean slightly. They most likely need to pinched inward occasionally to secure the glass shade.
A gorgeous, cozy addition to a cottagecore hutch, rustic bedside table, or vintage pottery display.
