Unusual vintage ceramic fish-form ashtray featuring a sculptural handmade appearance, deep blue-gray crackle glaze, cream/tan glaze variations and integrated cigarette rests around the irregular fish-shaped rim.
The underside carries a large incised artist/maker mark that appears to read“DAD.”I have not been able to reliably identify the pottery or artist, so the piece is being sold asunidentified vintage studio potteryrather than attributed to an unsupported maker.

The glaze shows extensive intentional/age-related crazing as well as visible wear, discoloration, glaze loss and rough/chipped areas around portions of the underside/base. Please review all photographs closely for exact condition.
