Item: Two vintage German scrapbook pages with original travel photographs and printed cards mounted on black album cardstock.
Time period: Circa 1925-1949 gelatin-silver photographs on paper consistent with early to mid 20th century production.
Subjects include the Tübingen Schlossportal castle gate, Bebenhausen near Tübingen hunting lodge and former Cistercian monastery, a Tübingen street scene with pedestrians and a child on a tricycle, a landscape near Tübingen with Wurmlinger Kapelle on the hill, and a distant roadside view of Hohenzollern Castle.
Additional piece is an art reproduction print after Ludwig Richter titled Brautzug im Frühling (Dresden), card number 2989.
Album captions are handwritten in German beneath each image, reading Tübingen: Schlossportal, Bebenhausen b. Tübingen Jagdschloss ehem. Cistercienserkloster, Tübingen, Landschaft b. Tübingen mit Wurmlinger Kapelle, and Hohenzollern.
