These are original unused Tab promotional bottle caps produced for a cash-prize promotion during the late 1970s–1980s.
Each cap is uncrimped and unused, with the original plastic liner still intact. When removed, the liner reveals the $1 winning designation, which would have been redeemable at participating retailers at the time of the promotion.
These caps were never placed on bottles and were part of internal bottler stock. The promotion expired decades ago and these caps are no longer redeemable.
