Fantastic vintage Tom’s Toasted Peanuts advertising/display jar featuring bold red graphics reading “Delicious Tom’s Toasted Peanuts – An American Tradition.”
The bottom of the advertising includes the particularly interesting wording “Prop. TOM’S Distrib. – Not to be sold.”, indicating this was intended as a Tom’s distributor/store display piece rather than an ordinary retail kitchen canister.
The large clear glass jar includes its original fitted glass lid with red embossed “Tom’s” knob. It stands approximately 10 inches tall overall based on the measurement shown in the photographs.
Condition is exceptional. I find no chips, cracks or scratches anywhere on the jar or lid. The glass is beautifully clear, the red advertising graphics remain bright and strong, and the red Tom’s lid knob presents extremely well. Please review all original photographs for exact condition and measurements.
A wonderful piece of vintage Tom’s snack-food, country store, general store, advertising and Americana memorabilia—and an especially attractive example for display.
