Special Provenance Note: A few of the maps in this collection feature original vintage return-address gear labels belonging to Charles Reichmuth of Ogden, Utah. Reichmuth was a prominent, longtime trip leader, officer, and avid backcountry adventurer with the historic Wasatch Mountain Club. Throughout the mid-to-late 20th century, Reichmuth planned, permitted, and coordinated group backpacking expeditions throughout southern Utah, including high-profile trips through the Canyonlands Needles district and the Grand Gulch Primitive Area. These maps served as his authentic personal reference library for navigating and guiding group treks through the raw Utah wilderness. Not all maps have the label.
All items are in original, vintage, pre-owned condition. They show typical light edge wear, minor corner creases, and age-related toning consistent with authentic paper items that have seen field planning use.
