Vernida Polacca Nampeyo(b. 1955) is a great-granddaughter of Nampeyo of Hano, and a granddaughter of Fannie Nampeyo through her father, Harold Polacca. Vernida is known for traditional Sikyatki Revival pottery, executed much in the style of the matriarch. The Katsina motif was used in some of the most important works by Nampeyo of Hano, and elevates this piece by her direct descendant.
