Vintage WED Enterprises Character Model Guide
This is an original comb-bound Disney Character Model Guide that appears to have been an internal WED Enterprises reference copy.
The manual bears a WED Enterprises, Inc. Research Department ownership stamp listing the historic Glendale headquarters address:
1401 Flower Street
Glendale, California 91201
Disney’s official Imagineering history confirms WED Enterprises occupied this location beginning in 1965 and remained headquartered there until the company was renamed Walt Disney Imagineering in 1986.
The manual contains Mickey Mouse character model sheets, drawing references, character analysis pages, and a “Word From Walt” introduction.
It appears to have been produced from internal photocopies rather than commercial printing, including photocopy artifacts (such as a reproduced paperclip shadow) that suggest this was assembled for internal departmental use.
The front cover is marked:
WD-100

I have not located another example of this exact WED Research Department version for sale. It is being offered as an original vintage Disney/WED reference manual from the estate of a longtime Disney Imagineer. No claims are being made regarding rarity beyond what is documented above.
Extensive research has not located another example of this “How to Draw Mickey Mouse” Character Model Guide bearing the WED Enterprises Research Department ownership stamp and 1401 Flower Street, Glendale address. While commercially distributed Disneyland editions of this guide are documented, this example appears to be an internally reproduced WED reference copy, distinguished by its departmental ownership stamp, black-and-white photocopied format, and comb binding. Although its exact production history is unknown, these characteristics are consistent with an internal departmental reference manual rather than a standard retail edition.
