An atmospheric early photographic view of Porquerolles, one of the Îles d’Hyères off the Mediterranean coast of southern France. The image shows a secluded rocky inlet framed by mature Mediterranean pines, with the coastline visible in the distance. A particularly attractive composition from this Yvon series.
Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition with age-related wear. Light toning and scattered minor soiling, particularly along the margins. Some edge and corner wear. There is a noticeable diagonal crease at the upper left corner extending slightly into the image area, along with a smaller crease/wear near the lower left margin. Reverse is unused and unposted with no writing. Image itself retains very good contrast and detail. Please examine all photographs carefully as they form part of the condition description.
