Vintage Elkhart Brass Fire Extinguisher – c. 1930s–1950s
Offered here is an authentic Elkhart Brass Mfg. Co. 2.5-gallon soda-acid fire extinguisher, made in Elkhart, Indiana. Constructed of copper and brass with riveted body, it retains its original embossed instruction plate, UL inspection tag (Classification A-1, No. C 655856), and complete hose/nozzle assembly.
This extinguisher represents classic American fire equipment from the mid-20th century and carries the natural aged patina that collectors and decorators value.
