This 4-ounce prescription utility bottle features a classic rectangular panel shape with a flat front and sides, originally designed to hold paper apothecary labels.The base is clearly embossed with the authentic Illinois Glass Co. \"I inside a diamond\" manufacturer mark, alongside the factory mold catalog number 488. Measuring approximately 5.5 inches tall, the glass body is completely intact with an excellent, strong rim and lip, showing no chips, cracks, or structural damage.Please note that the bottle exhibits a distinctive white residue/haze across the exterior glass panels, a very common characteristic of authentic dug or aged antique glass that highlights its historical age.
