This exceptional 1936 cast-metal statue from the historic Kronheim & Oldenbusch foundry of NY, perfectly captures the height of the 19430's American "Scottish Terrier craze." Features incredible casting definitions - including the breed's signature perky ears, distinct muzzles, and textured fur. The sculpture has an original, uncleaned dark chemical patina with hand-applied gold-brass highlights. It is heavy and naturally weighted and fully production stamped.
