Up for sale is an original vintage USAF Lockheed F-104A Starfighter jet airplane contractor promo desktop display model dating from the 1950\'s. This was made as a reference model for the engineers working on this project. High quality and pretty certain it was made by Topping Models or Precise Models. No maker marks that I can find. The base has a two metal posts the model sits on. Made of a thick plastic or resin material. The model is in very nice condition for its age. No cracks, no chips and no repairs. A few light surface scratches and light wear to some of the original decals. Base is in great shape. I have not tried to clean. Displays well. Measures approx. 13 1/4\" long by 6 5/8\" at the tallest point when sitting on the stand. Being sold as found and seen in the photos. Glare spots are from the lights reflection and not on the actual item. Rare item and is a must for any collector. I will combine shipping on multiple wins.
