Vtg/Antq 6 Panel Slag Glass & Brass Shade-Amber Ivory Marbled Art Nouveau 15\" W For Sale

A beautiful vintage/antique six-panel slag glass shade. Unfortunately, I\'m not sure if this shade originally went with a pendant, swag, or a lamp. Research on this style suggests early-to-mid 20th century, likely dating from the 1920s-1940s. This suggested era is based on its Art Nouveau-inspired scrollwork; the curved molded slag glass panels and decorative brass framework finished in an antique brass or bronze tone, which were common on bridge lamps, table lamps, and hanging fixtures from the interwar period; and the textured interior and smooth exterior glass are frequently seen on American-made shades from the 1920s-40s.
The shade features richly marbled shades of creamy ivory, honey amber, caramel, plum, and butterscotch. When illuminated, the glass produces a warm golden glow. Decorative vertical dividers and an embossed scrolling border around the lower edge give the piece an elegant Art Nouveau-inspired appearance. The outer surface of the glass is smooth, while the interior surface has a textured finish that softly diffuses light and enhances the illuminated effect.
This listing is for the shade only. The shade shown in the photo with a light inside was used solely to demonstrate the beautiful glow of the glass when illuminated. A wonderful replacement shade or restoration piece for a vintage table lamp, bridge lamp, floor lamp, or hanging fixture.

Condition: Excellent with no chips or cracks. A couple of interior panel brackets are missing, but the previous owner secured those areas where the brackets were.
