The Manufacturer: The BK Elliott Co. was a prominent American engineering supply company founded in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, known for high quality drafting instruments and surveying equipment.
Manufacturing Origin: While marketed under the American B.K. Elliott name, many of their high end precision drawing instruments were outsourced and manufactured by master toolmakers in Germany.
Material:Chrome-plated brass.
Mechanical Condition: The adjustment screws turn smoothly, and the slider heads lock tightly onto the beam without slipping.
Cosmetic Condition: Some surface wear with some areas with worn chrome showing the brass underneath. The box with the BK Elliott label is very tattered. The initials \"RCF\" are lightly engraved into each piece.
I\'m not sure this is complete. All examples I found online only showed the pieces that are in this listing. However, some information indicates that may have been a second bar.
