Vintage Pair of 1940s Animatronic Department Store Display Dolls Electric Victorian Gentleman & Lady

Step back in time with this captivating pair of vintage animatronic dolls. These figures are believed to have been designed for and used as department store window displays and are believed to date to the 1920\'s to 1940\'s. The enchanting pair includes aVictorian gentleman and lady, both elegantly dressed, with moving heads and arms when plugged in. These were informally appraised at an Antiques Roadshow event at MPT Studios. Versatile- use for Christmas, Halloween, or other.

• Victorian gentleman: Stands approximately 32.5 inches tall.
• Victorian lady: Slightly taller at 35 inches, wearing a striking red magenta cloak and a long, voluminous dress with a generous fabric span of approximately 20 inches at the base.
• Condition:These figures/ dolls are in fair condition, as they have been exposed to heat and suboptimal storage conditions for years. There are multiple cosmetic flaws, including spots on the faces, some discoloration and stains on the clothing, and dirt on the bases and flaws on their hands and faces. I do not know for sure, but from what I have read these flaws may be due to plastic degradation and oxidation over time. Please VIEW photos carefully, I am not attempting cleaning or restoration, due to my lack of knowledge in this area.
