Vtg. McCoy Limited Ceramic Black Cat Candle Holder, Arched Back 8.5" x 9" Read For Sale

Offered is a hard-to-find and "purr"fectly wonderful Vintage McCoy Limited Ceramic Black Cat Single Taper Candle Holder/Figurine, circa 1985. This "Scaredy Cat" arched-back figure was part of the McCoy Limited Halloween Line and is impressive displayed with or without a candle.Measures 8 1/2" tall at the tail by approximately 9" across from head to tail; the base is 3 5/8" by 2 3/4". It weighs 1 lb. 12 oz. before shipping box and packaging materials, so package will weigh over 2 lbs. to ship. In very nice pre-owned condition with no breaks, cracks, or discoloration...there is what looks like a repaired chip near the bottom edge of the base at the back and a light scratch in the glaze on the front of the body (please see last two photos taken under high magnification and bright light). Nelson and Billie McCoy created McCoy Limited after their retirement from the Nelson McCoy Pottery Company in 1981. They wanted to sell to small shops and focus onholiday-themed decor and gift items. There were over 150 items in the McCoy Limited lines. Decorations not included.
