This traditional slipjoint folder features a distinct tapered Swell-End frame (measuring exactly 2-7/8 inches closed) paired with an eye-catching set of smooth, deeply grained red-and-black swirled pressed composite wood / vulcanized fiber handle scales. It comes complete with a traditional flush nickel-silver bowtie shield inlaid on the presentation side. Features & Condition Details:Tang Stamp: Deeply and legibly stamped "PROV. CUTLERY CO. / PROV. R.I." at the base of the primary blade. Compact 2-Blade Layout: Vest pocket format featuring a clip-point main blade and a secondary pen blade at the same pivoting end. Blade Condition: High-carbon steel blades. Both implements show an incredible, uncleaned vintage field patina with extensive dark gray carbon tarnish, heavy historic pitting spots, and cosmetic storage seasoning—left completely original for authenticity. Handle Scales: Stunning dark oxblood/black marbled pressed composite wood covers.
