These vintage Thanksgiving die-cut cardboard decorations were produced during the 1970\'s by the Beistle Company. The Beistle Company is the oldest continuing manufacturer of decorations and party goods in the United States. Founded in 1900 by Martin Luther Beistle near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
This lot from 1979 includes the complete 8-piece set which includes the \"Happy Thanksgiving\" sign along with pilgrim and native American figures. The children are in traditional holiday attire, including a boy with a basket of corn, a girl holding a roasted turkey, and a child with autumn flowers. The vintage larger pilgrim boy and girl are jointed and measure about 23\" tall. The arms can be moved to wave, hands on hips, or whatever you like. These were also produced by the Beistle Company in 1986. There is a small punch-out for easy hanging.
The vintage 1980\'s Presto-Stick window decoration is a reusable vinyl turkey cling sheet featuring a colorful turkey graphic surrounded by miniature pumpkins and autumn leaves. Produced by the Eureka Company based out of Dunmore, Pennsylvania.
