Vintage West German Jumbo Triple Indent Glass Christmas Ornament – Approx. 8”
Spectacular vintage West German blown glass Christmas ornament featuring an elaborate triple-indent reflector design and an impressive oversized finial/drop shape.
Measuring approximately 8 inches long, this is a substantial statement ornament. The large central body features three deep silver reflector indents spaced around the ornament, each with a dimensional embossed appearance and surrounded by frosted white leaf decoration.
The ornament is beautifully decorated in metallic red, silver and white, with hand-applied silver glitter scrollwork and a long striped glass finial/drop ending in a small round ball. The combination of its jumbo scale, triple reflectors and elaborate decoration gives it wonderful Mid-Century Modern Christmas appeal.
The metal cap is marked West Germany.
Includes the vintage cardboard box shown in the photographs. The box has an old Christmas decoration retailer/distributor stamp on the exterior. Because the marking is partially obscured and difficult to read, no specific maker attribution is being made.

Condition: Very good vintage condition overall, particularly considering the ornament’s age and unusually large size. It retains strong color and attractive decoration. There is age-related wear including scattered surface marks, finish wear, spotting and areas of glitter/frost loss consistent with vintage glass ornaments. No cracks or breaks observed. The vintage box shows age and storage wear. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the condition description.
