Vtg c1950s Stay-A-Float Child Life Belt & Swim Vest Store Display Box & Contents For Sale

Store display cardboard box that holds Child's Tapatco brand Stay-A Float Life Belt and Swim Vest, size Large-appropriate for a child age 12-15 years old. The box measures 11" x 10 3/4 x 6 1/2". The box has been shrink wrapped to help preserve its very good condition. There is no information on the box as to the manufacturer. I assume the buyer of this item is looking solely at the graphics of the box and could care less about its contents but if you want to see the vest, another seller has it for sale as item 197633527299. Box top has an outstanding detailed color illustration of the vest and 3 children playing and also wearing the vest. On the top of the box, above the vest and the child with the yellow swim cap, there are perforations thatappear to allow part of the top to be folded up for display purposes (If the buyer attempts this, the box is not returnable). The box is undated but based on the illustration of the children, my guess is that this is from the 1950's. No credit is given to the artist of these illustrations. The back and bottom are blank. The original store price for the vest was $3.68 (marked in black marker on one side panel). Top of the box is in good+ condition, with strong unfaded colors. There is some minor corner and edge wear. Because of the large size of the box, and the weight of its contents, mailing costs are higher than usual. If my buyer would prefer only the box, I will remove its contents (no lowering of purchase price) and mailing costs would be much lower but the box then is not returnable.The seller with just the vest (no box) is asking $50.
Only one like it on and the box is a real work of art.#W
