Up for sale is a genuine, historically significant Spanish Model 1913 (M1913) Mauser long knife bayonet. This iconic pattern was widely fielded alongside the 7mm M1916 Short Rifle and later reused during the Spanish Civil War and WWII with the 8mm M1943 Short Rifle. This example comes paired with a highly durable, era-correct all-steel arsenal replacement scabbard.

• Blade: Remains in a clean, natural matte gray \"in-the-white\" finish. Displays expected longitudinal cleaning scratches and light field sharpening marks from its military career. There is very mild pepper-spotting and faint micro-pitting scattered along the fullers and near the point, but no deep or destructive rust.
• Hilt & Pommel: The wood grip panels are fully intact with rich dark coloration, sitting flush against the tang with a factory-cut cleaning rod notch present.
• Markings: The ricasso faces have been polished smooth during historical arsenal maintenance/refurbishment, rendering factory logos obsolete. The serial number \"5735\" remains beautifully crisp and legible on the pommel.
• Scabbard: The scarce all-metal scabbard is structurally exceptional - completely rigid and free of major dents or crushed areas. It retains a deep, aged dark patina with faint traces of its original dark finish coat under natural lighting. The bayonet shears smoothly into the throat and seats firmly.
