The Motor Corps of America service founded in 1917 was composed of women and it was developed to render supplementary aid to the U.S. Army and Navy in transporting troops and supplies during World War I. Emblems/badges of this service are already quite rare and this license plate topper is even more so. One of its kind was displayed at the Museum of the City of New York.
