WWII NAMED USAAF 8th Air Force Pilots Uniform Jacket, WW2 Warrant Officer WOJG For Sale

This jacket is named to WOJG James M. Boyd Sr. The name is found written on the backing of the waist belt, accompanied by a stamp with his laundry number. I have not researched WOJG Boyd, but with how heavily the 8th Air Force was involved in the ETO, I’m sure he had quite an eventful time during the war. The jacket, dated to June of 1942, is a nice early war example of the Officer’s dress jacket. It is in overall good condition, though there are several small moth nips throughout and some damage on the collar from being on a hanger at some point in the past. All buttons are present.Perfect for any 8th Air Force enthusiast or militaria collector!
